Posted at 08:15 am, 19th January 2019My business model is currently oriented around hiring out my team of developers here in Sweden as contractors, getting paid around $100 / h for each guy. I’d like to move a to a more 1) global and 2) value-based strategy. By “value-based” I mean that we address the client’s actual business problems instead of just handing them a Java developer for 6 months.
I’d like to get our rates up to $300 / h (at least) and be able to have global clients.
We have a lot of smart people on the team, including AI expertise.
What would you do in my situation, Caleb? Getting your course is not a problem money-wise but I’m strapped for time so I need to know if it’s going to be relevant in reaching my goal.

Ofc I’m tired of this corporate job. But I don’t think I can do any consulting which can pay very high, except for maybe developing websites as a freelancer. The problem with that is it requires long hours.
What do you think I can start a consulting busoness about?

in this course, do you consider a coaching business (defined as: a one-on-one skype session for an hour, paid by hour, with an individual client rather than a company) a subtype of consulting, or is this off topic?

Posted at 07:25 pm, 13th February 2019Coaching is different than consulting, and the course was not designed for coaches, BUT, since there are so many similarities between the two I would estimate that at least 60% of the content of the course would apply to coaches, if not more.
