Speed

Reading Time – 3 minutes

I have a business buddy who makes more money in the online coaching/course space than I do; he makes high 6-figures a month, net.

He recently went to a several-day conference where only 7-figure and 8-figure entrepreneurs were allowed in.

He told me that the one thing that was consistent across the board with all of these people was SPEED.

These guys (and many gals) were all focused on SPEED.

Getting things done FAST.

No wasting time making decisions.

No farting around with projects and taking forever.

No asking their friends or family members if whatever was a good idea.

No making bullshit excuses about why they should do this or that next year or in 6 months instead of right now.

SPEED.

Coincidentally, I heard Alex Hormozi on a podcast this morning say something interesting. He was asked what the greatest point of leverage in your business is, specifically with your offer.

He said it was SPEED.

“Get it done faster,” he said, “Figure out how to get the result done for the client faster. Get the product done faster. Market it faster. That’s really it. SPEED is the biggest premium in the marketplace right now.”

I’ve said about ten thousand times that five flags and having an international lifestyle get harder every year.

Every year you have less options for getting easy residencies, easy second passports, easy international business structures, and easy international bank accounts.

Five flags is a lot harder today in 2025 than when I finished most of my five flags stuff back in 2021 (I’m so glad I got it all done back then).

Even now, it’s still getting harder.

I was going to get my Italian citizenship by descent this September. Now I can’t. They just changed the laws saying that you have to spend time in Italy every year to maintain it, that you now have to take a bunch of tests in Italian, you have to prove more stuff about your ancestry, there’s more restrictions on who qualifies, and on and on.

So no Italian passport for me.

(Which is okay in my case, since I’m all about redundancy and that passport is only one of four different ones I’m focused on. And no, I can’t publicly disclose what these are on the advice of my attorneys.)

In my latest book, Freedom Fortress, I show with real facts and data that it’s entirely possible that in 10-15 years, you won’t be able to make any more money because of AI (maybe).

Yes, literally.

This means you have around 10 years to make all the money you want before you won’t be able to make any more and thus differentiate yourself from anyone else in the marketplace or society.

This should scare the shit out of you. It does me.

If you don’t have any money right now and/or don’t even have your location-independent business up and running yet, guess what that means?

You need to move on these things as fast as humanly possible.

SPEED.

I’ve said this before and I’ll be happy to say it again in the future: If I lived in any collapsing Western nation right now (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc) and I didn’t have any location-independent income, I would wake up every morning screaming in terror.

I’d be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, setting up my location-independent business and working on moving out of the Collapsing West or at least setting up my residency for my international back-up plan.

I’d put everything else in my life on hold until that was done.

SPEED.

I walk my talk, because even at my level, I’ve already done a variation of this myself.

I already make a high income through my location-independent companies and I’m pretty safe, but because of a few very big goals I have that come due in 12 months, plus the fact that I know what’s coming (collapse of the USA/Europe and the possible AI takeover of our economy), I’ve dramatically cut back (not eliminated, only cut back) a whole bunch of important things like mediation, exercise, women, eating, travel, five flags stuff, and various business projects.

All so I can 100% focus on SPEED to get my goals done by next April.

Maybe you’ve heard “Speed is the new big.”

It’s true. At least now it is.

The economic collapse of the USA and the rest of the West, which was already happening fast, has accelerated because of the pandemic, Biden’s idiocy, and Trump’s idiocy.

AI is moving so fast that I have never in my entire life seen any other technology move faster

That’s pretty crazy considering that I lived through the computer revolution of the late 70s and 80s, and the internet revolution of the 90s and early 2000s, so I’ve seen a lot of historically fast stuff occur in society.

If you want to be safe and happy in the future, it’s time for you to move very, very fast.

Because going slow isn’t going to cut it anymore.

People who move fast are going to live a good life.

People who move slowly are going to get crushed.

The choice is yours.

Articles have recently been giving out massive value. Just so much advice relevant for today. Even though I’m not in the West, almost every day or every other day this thought comes into my mind. I’m too slow. I’m scared I’m too slow. I need to hit my goals faster. Will be using this ***sense of urgency*** and taking more action, making decisions faster, failing faster and learning faster.

One needs to be mindful of the kind of speed needed. If you have to take a tall stack of papers to the city gate by 6pm, and you walk too fast, you risk tripping on a rock and sending the papers flying, delaying progress.

No matter how advanced AI becomes a decade from now, people are still going to want the real deal when it comes to the content they consume.

I don’t care how “life-like” robots will become in the 2030’s and beyond, you’ll still be talking to a machine with pre-programmed responses not unlike talking to Siri or Cleverbot today.

I don’t care how advanced those AI “art” generators will become even five years from now, tech bros will still be making fools of themselves as well as making themselves easy targets for REAL artists who can right click their prompts, upload them into their drawing program of choice, and use them as a starting basis for producing authentic hand-drawn art (something I myself have done since unlike all the outcome dependent crybaby artists on Twitter who go WAAAAAHHHHHHH over AI “artists”, I fight fire with fire. ;))

The most AI will ever be capable of is reducing if not entirely eliminating the boring day to day tasks nobody wants to do anyway thus freeing up brain power for all the creative minded people out there to pursue the things they truly want to focus on.

So sure, uncreative people with nothing of value to offer the world i.e low IQ morons, crypto scammers and fake gurus, blatant copycats with no original ideas, etc will get swept away by the coming AI revolution, but not the people with more than two brain cells to rub together who have authentic life experiences or knowledge most people don’t have.

Entrepreneurs and self employed CEOs who are willing to bet ON the future, not against it.

Your most important article lately. Now you’re on the way to living your full mission of helping us selflessly, and still making money with it😂

    No.

    No, no, no, no!

You’re talking like a LISG and a beta.

The vast majority of you are moving so slowly, or not at all, that this is the last thing you people should be worried about.

That’s often WHY you’re not moving fast. “But if I move this fast, THIS might happen!!! Oh no! I’d better slow down..”

Back in the 2000s Facebook motto was “Move fast and BREAK THINGS.” That’s what you need to do.

Correction. SOME PEOPLE will want the real deal; I agree. But lots of other people won’t care.

So sure, uncreative people with nothing of value to offer the world i.e low IQ morons, crypto scammers and fake gurus, blatant copycats with no original ideas, etc will get swept away by the coming AI revolution,

    That’s most people…

but not the people with more than two brain cells to rub together who have authentic life experiences or knowledge most people don’t have.

    That’s smaller percentage of people…

Entrepreneurs and self employed CEOs who are willing to bet ON the future, not against it.

    I 100% agree and that’s exactly what I’m doing.

But I also acknowledge that most of humanity isn’t like me, and they’re going to have a really rough time.
